2.1 Creating objects in Blender

To create objects in Blender, you will have to either use the Add menu

that appears at the 3D Viewport header or the SHIFT+A keys. The

shortcut works for object creation when you have the 3D Viewport as the

Active Editor if you don't remember how Active Editors works, go back to

chapter 1 and reread section 1.3.

By pressing SHIFT+A or opening the Add menu, you will see a box with

all creation options for Blender (Figure 2.1).
